The 87 acre Putney Ranch is located near North Fork and is
operated by Madera County under the authority of the sheriff's
department. Elevation is about 3,000 feet. There are 10 half sided,
screened in cabins with beds that sleep up to 65 guests. Open ground
camping for up to 125 people is possible. There are two shower / toilet
facilities on the grounds. Forests are pine and oak
and there is substantial frontage on Manzanita Lake. Click

Commercial services (gas, auto repair, post office, groceries,
restaurants) are within three miles of the gate.
Administrative offices with telephone, fax, and work desks are
available.
