NEWSLETTER Winter, 2011 Madera County has
everything you need for your next film or commercial project - farms, ranches,
mountains, valleys, rivers, towns, roads; and of course, Yosemite
National Park. |
| Bass Lake - Best Lake In The State and Great Roads Too !! | |
|
Bass Lake, just featured in USA Today, was declared by Sunset Magazine to be one of the West's Best lakes and has been home to more feature films, commercials and photo shoots than any other lake in the area. Why ? Because it's national forest land; easy to permit and offers a variety of unusual locations. |
Now you know why every auto manufacturer comes here. We've got straight roads, winding roads, mountain roads and dirt roads and all are easy to permit. And high country roads are all now open 'til late October. |
| Putney Ranch - County Property = No Costs To Film | |
The area below Manzanita Lake provides unusual rock formations that can't be found elsewhere. |
Cabins and camping areas replicate the look of a mountain boy scout camp, close to civilization. |
