The mission of the Yosemite / Madera County Film Commission is to bring new and repeat film, advertising and photography business into Madera County. To accomplish this mission, it shall develop, market and disseminate information to the film industry; establish an aggressive promotional and informational effort designed to attract the film industry and coordinate local activities in Madera County.

The Yosemite / Madera County Film Commission shall serve as liaison to appropriate governmental offices during actual film production, perform all appropriate research and background work related to determination of film industry plans and requirements and educate both local businesses and residents of the benefits of film production. 

As an official member of FLICS (Film Locations in California, Statewide), the Yosemite / Madera County Film Commission agrees to abide by the guidelines, ethics and code of conduct set forth by the California Film Commission and the Association of Film Commissioners International.
